Stress Resilience for Youth

Are you a high school student feeling STRESSED? 

Do you get anxious or overwhelmed thinking about school, friends, or your future?

Do you feel pressure from Social Media?

 

If you answered YES to any of these questions, you are not alone! Recent studies show that at least 31% of today's youth feel just as stressed as adults, if not more! Things have definitely changed since your parents were your age.  

 

There is HOPE. 

 

This workshop, to be held on TDSB PD days or organized based on demand, will help you:

1. Understand YOUR stress response.

2. Teach you important skills that you can use to help you get better at stress and anxiety.

3. Build Confidence as you face the future.

 

Cost:  OHIP + $60 to cover online program, yoga, handouts, practice MP3s, and other stress management loot. ($120 deposit required to register, $60 to be returned upon attendance).


Who: High School Aged Youth experiencing Stress and Anxiety.

Where: 1466 Bathurst Street, Suite 306, Toronto ON (Clairhurst Medical Building, corner of St. Clair West and Bathurst St)

When: These Single-Day workshops will be held on TDSB PA days for High School based on demand:

February 2, 2017

What to Bring:  BRING YOUR LUNCH! Please Comfortable walking shoes (we will be going outside weather permitting!)

 

Register:  Have your Doctor fill out the REFERRAL FORM indicating STRESS RESILIENCE FOR YOUTH.  See above for course fees. (All Registrants must provide the name of a parent or guardian, and primary care physician).

ALL PARTICPANTS WILL NEED TO HAVE AN ASSESSMENT WITH DR.VAIDYA PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE INTO THE GROUP.

Deadline to register for the February Group is: January 20th, 2017.
